March 2020 Three Internal Event - VR Simulator's

Today we were at one of the Three UK offices in Reading, for an internal event, with two of our top of the range virtual reality simulators. With some awesome prizes up for grabs for the fastest racers, no wonder there was some competitive laps and lots banter going on around the sims.

After many laps of Brands Hatch Indy Circuit Andy came out on top with the quickest lap time of 48.903 seconds and won the top prize, which was a PlayStation 4 bundle.

Then in second place was John, with a respectable 50.108 seconds, who took home a pair of Chelsea VIP Hospitality Tickets.

Then 3rd place went to Paco with a 52.313 second lap and took home a signed Chelsea football. Another great event put on by Three, hopefully we can make it a hat trick and help you out for a 3rd time.

January 2020 Whitesales (Entertainment After Morning Meeting)

We were invited to Whitesales Ltd in Cranleigh to setup one of our giant scalextric sets and supply 2 VR simulators for a post Christmas/New Years team building/fun-day event.

After setup we were invited by Whitesales Ltd to enjoy pizza from the mobile fresh pizza van they had hired and before the activities began.

We were asked to start the event off with a team building task, so we thought we would do a Team relay LeMan style race. Firstly we randomly split them up into 5 teams of 6 and then let each team have 3 minutes of practice. We highlighted that they would need a smooth handover on the controller to save time, they would need to figure out the optimum speed to get around the track without crashing and to figure out what lane to use a different sections of the track to get that optimum lap time (we use the newer Scalextric digital lane change system).

After each team had their practice and had a few minutes to figure out their strategy it was time to start the race. The first racer from each team was assigned a coloured wireless controller, then after 2 laps they needed to hand over to the next racer who then would do 2 laps and this went on so each member had 2 goes (24 lap race in total). It was close race with lots of shouting of strategies being thrown around the table but the RED team came out victorious and winning the prize.

After this we put out our top gear style fastest lap leader boards and the guests could then use the Scalextric & VR Sims at their own Leisure. After about 4 hours and constant use of the Scalextric track Darci was the had the fastest lap with a lap time of 7.254 seconds closely followed by Ross with a 7.359 secs.

Our two top of the range VR simulators were also available to use throughout the day and were as popular as ever. For this event we decided to use the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit and the car of choice was the Audi TT RS - after many hours of non-stop racing the top spot went to Ross with a fastest lap time of 50.121 seconds and Jonathan in 2nd place with 50.547 seconds.

September 2019 THREE 5G Broadband Launch

On Wednesday 18th of September we supplied this giant Scalextric and 2 Virtual Reality Simulators to the THREE 5G Broadband Launch Party at the Hoxton Central London.

They decided to have Scalextric and VR Sims to represent how things have moved on, Scalextric being what we all grew up with and loved, and the VR Sims being th absolutely latest technology in gaming.

Loads of fun was had while people tried to get to the top of the leader board on both Simulator and Scalextric.

The leader boards kept changing throughout the evening, but there could only be one winner with Sean W completing a 1:54.889 around the Silverstone's Grand Prix Circuit in Micheal Schumacher 2004 Ferrari F1 car
